Carbin Africa respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data Carly collects, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

When you use Carly we may collect:

• Identity and contact data: your name, phone number, email address and city.
• Preference data: your budget, financing choices, body type, fuel and feature preferences, and how you interact with vehicle cards.
• Transaction data: deposits, payment references, financing details and inspection bookings.
• Technical data: device, browser and usage information needed to keep the service secure and improving.

• To match you with vehicles and explain why each car fits you.
• To contact you by call or WhatsApp and arrange inspections, payments and delivery.
• To process deposits, purchases, financing applications and refunds.
• To send receipts and set up services such as your Carly wallet.
• To improve Carly and keep it safe from fraud and abuse.

We process your data because it is necessary to provide the service you request, to meet legal obligations, for our legitimate interest in running a secure business, and where required, with your consent.

We share data only with the partners needed to serve you: payment processors, financing partners, inspection and logistics teams, and verified dealers on DealerMart. We never sell your personal data.

Data is stored securely with encryption in transit and access limited to authorised Carbin staff. We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Under Nigerian data protection law you can:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Ask us to delete your data where there is no legal reason to keep it.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where it was given.
• Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
